Established in April of 2000, by a group of Chihuahua breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts who met in Charlotte, NC to form the club. Our goals are simple.
- We promote good sportsmanship in showing our beloved Chihuahuas.
- We strive to educate our members and the public in the subjects of health, maintenance and breeding.
- And, most importantly, we seek to introduce others to our unique breed.
The club has open enrollment for anyone interested in joining to further our goals. Membership is $5 yearly for Associate Membership (no voting rights), $10 for Individual Membership and $15 for family membership (2 or more) Juniors (under 18) are free with a responsible adult membership. Our annual meeting is held in Concord, NC during the Speedway Classic dog show circuit in July. We also hold at least two specialty shows per year (AKC Sanctioned Concurrent Specialty shows that are also sanctioned by the Chihuahua Club of America of which CCCC is a member). Please check our events tab for more information on shows, meeting dates and other events the club hosts.
